What is an Impulse Response?
Impulse Response files are tiny WAV files which contain tonal information. We use them to emulate the effects of a speaker cabinet/microphone combination.
The speaker cabinet or the IR is considered one of the most important parts of the tone because it is the final stage of filtering for the guitar signal (before post processing).
How do we use an Impulse Response?
Impulse Response Loaders are plugins which turn the impulse response file into a filter which effects the raw amp tone. You can find a link to a free IR Loader here.
